I really love the fact that this book is written from six year old Scout Finch's point of view. I think that most people would have chosen to write it from Atticus or Calpurnia's pov, but in doing it this way lends something else to the story. It also addresses sexism in the 1960's, Scout is always being told to act like a 'lady' and that she shouldn't be running around in overalls.
