I decided to read Wonder by R.J Palacio. This book is one of the most heartwarming, simple yet beautiful novels I have ever read! This author is amazing! The book is about a 10/11 year old boy, who has a sever face disfigurement and how he goes to middle school for the first time. I absolutely fell in love with how beautifully it was written, how everything just seamlessly flowed, and what a charming underlying message it sends out. For the first time in a long time, I felt really connected to the book even though it's written for 10/11 year old kids, it can be enjoyed for people old and young. It's sad that the author felt the need to use her initials  (such as J.K Rowling) to make the book stand out more. I think there are hundreds of books written by female authors that we read, yet we never realize it. There are some other great female authors such as: J.K Rowling, Eva Ibbotson, Sarah Dessen, Lauren Oliver etc. Overall I really liked this book!
