Take action for World Wildlife Day!

Take action this World Wildlife Day to step up the fight against wildlife crime.

"Illegal wildlife trade has exploded to meet increasing demand for elephant ivory, rhino horns, and tiger products, particularly in Asia. Controlled by dangerous crime syndicates, wildlife is trafficked much like drugs or weapons. Wildlife criminals often operate with impunity, making the trade a low-risk/high-profit business. Today, it is the fifth most profitable illicit trade in the world, estimated at up to $10 billion annually." - World Wildlife Fund

This March 3rd, join the fight against wildlife crime and celebrate the world's diverse flora and fauna (like these guys) by taking a stand this World Wildlife Day. Here's how you can join in:

1. Download an Action Poster from the World Wildlife Day website and stick it somewhere for the world to see.
2. Use the hashtag #SeriousAboutWildlifeCrime on allllll the social media
3. Join the WWD Thunderclap at 2pm on March 3rd and add your voice to the social media storm via Tumblr, Twitter or Facebook.
To complete this challenge, share a picture of your Action Poster or social media post.
