Ride to Conquer Cancer

Volunteer to support thousands of cyclists as they embark on a 200km fundraising ride.

On 11–12 October, thousands of cyclists of all abilities will participate in The Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer® benefiting Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. As they embark on this epic 200km journey, they’ll need your help!

The money raised from The Ride will benefit Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, a world-class cancer treatment and research facility providing integrated care and support services to public and private patients. The event takes place on the 11th and 12th of October, 2014. It begins when the Riders gather for an inspiring Opening Ceremony then continue through Sydney to a location where the riders will make camp for the night. We are seeking a number of crew members to assist and work a variety of roles over the two days in teams such as:

  • Food Service
  • Traffic and Moto Safety, Bike Parking, Truck Driver (truck licence needed)
  • Camp Set-up/Pack-up
  • Pit Stop, Hydration & Snack Support
  • Route Marshalls
  • Motorcycle Safety
  • Massage
  • Yoga
Joining us as a Crew Member is a great way to make a difference and use your expertise to help others. When you serve as a Crew Member on The Ride, you will put yourself through an endurance test, but you will be rewarded in ways that you've never imagined.

Age: 16+, and under 18s will need to bring a responsible adult.
Cost: $50 registration fee which covers food and camping for the weekend.
Register online and the Conquer Cancer folks will be in touch.
